Privacy Policy
What we collect when you get in touch, why we need it, and how we look after it.
Last updated: 7 November 2026
1. Who we are
This website, megoravibe.co.uk, is run by MEGORA LTD (“Megora”, “we”, “us” or “our”), of Bromyard Avenue, East Acton, London, W3 7BU. We are the “data controller” for the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.
This policy explains our practices under UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
2. Information we collect
The only personal information we collect through this website is what you type into our contact form, or into the Request a Quote form, which sends you to the same page:
| Information | Why we ask for it |
|---|---|
| Name | So we know who we are replying to. |
| Email address | So we can reply to your enquiry. |
| Telephone (optional) | So we can call you if that is easier for you. |
| Product | Filled in automatically when you request a quote, so we know which item you are asking about. |
| Your interest | The type of enquiry you select, such as a wholesale enquiry. |
| Your message | The details of your question or request. |
You may also contact us by phone or email. In that case we only receive the information you give us during the call or in your message.
3. How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry or quote request;
- discuss products, quantities and, where relevant, pricing with you;
- keep a record of our conversation so we can follow up properly;
- meet our legal and accounting obligations, if you go on to become a customer.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
4. Our lawful basis
Data protection law requires us to have a valid reason for using your information. Ours are:
- Taking steps at your request. When you ask for a quote or information about buying from us, we use your details to respond.
- Legitimate interests. We have a genuine interest in answering the enquiries we receive and keeping a sensible record of them, and we believe this does not override your privacy.
- Legal obligation. We may keep certain records where the law requires it, such as for tax and accounting.
5. Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies or pixels on this website. The website may use only the small technical files that are strictly necessary for it to load and work properly, and these do not track you.
If we ever decide to add analytics or marketing tools, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
6. Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it with trusted services that help us run the website and handle your enquiry, such as our website hosting provider and email provider. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information if the law requires us to, for example to a regulator, a court or the police, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Our service providers are based in the UK where possible. If any of them process your information outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, as required by law.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry only for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any follow-up. If you become a customer, we keep the relevant records for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting purposes. When we no longer need your information, we delete it or anonymise it.
8. Keeping it safe
We take sensible technical and organisational steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to the people who need it. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our responsibility seriously.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information, in certain circumstances;
- object to us using your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask for your information in a portable format, in certain circumstances.
To use any of these rights, email us at sales@megora1.co.uk. We will normally reply within one month, and we may need to confirm your identity first. It is free to make a request, unless it is clearly unfounded or excessive.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Links to other sites
Our website links to our social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok and LinkedIn) and to other services such as maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they use your information. We encourage you to read their policies before sharing anything with them.
11. Children
Our website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using new services on the website. The latest version will always be on this page with its “last updated” date. If we make an important change, we will make that clear.
13. Contact us
If you have any questions about this policy or about your personal information, we are happy to help.
